Crafted for Superior Acoustic Sustain
One of the biggest frustrations with cheaper shruti boxes is running out of air too quickly. We solved this by using premium, multifold bellows lined with beautiful blue and gold decorative marble paper. Because the bellows expand wide and hold air efficiently, you get a much longer sustain with very little hand pumping. This lets you focus entirely on your singing or meditation, rather than constantly worrying about pumping the instrument.
Built from Solid Teak Wood
Durability matters, especially if you are traveling to yoga studios or gigs. Instead of using laminated wood that warps over time, the WL1 is built from solid Teak wood. Teak is naturally resistant to moisture and provides a beautiful, resonant acoustic warmth. To protect the instrument further, we reinforced it with solid brass corner guards, sturdy wooden latches, and an elegant brass top handle.

This surpeti features a full piano-style keyboard layout with 13 individual notes, covering a complete octave from C3 to C4. Simply slide the white keys open to dial in your desired chord. You can even choose between standard Concert Pitch (440 Hz) or Sound Healing Pitch (432 Hz) to match your specific style of practice.
