How National Music India was Born.

How National Music India was Born.

There's something magical about music, isn't there? Like a whisper in the wind, it stirs the soul and paints stories in the air. For me, at National Music India, this isn't just a business, it's a passion passed down through generations, a melody woven with dedication and love.

Imagine, over thirty years ago, my father (Parvaze Chowdhury) sat with a dream burning bright in his eyes. Inspired by his grandfather, a master craftsman known for his singing wood creations, he set out to build a legacy of his own. With a small workshop and two helping hands, National Music India took its first, shaky breath.

It wasn't always sunshine and sweet notes. We started by crafting for others, putting our heart and soul into each instrument but reaping rewards that felt hollow. My father's partner, blinded by greed, saw only profit and soon vanished, leaving behind a whisper of doubt, "This company won't rise, give it up."

But doubt cannot extinguish the fire of passion. My father, fueled by the music in his heart, refused to let the melody die. He doubled down, his hands calloused but strong, his spirit ablaze. Slowly, the whispers of trust grew into a chorus of appreciation. Musicians, young and old, embraced our instruments, their harmonies a testament to our quality.

Then, came my turn. I (Helal Chowdhury) joined my father, not just as a son, but as a fellow dreamer. Together, we launched our own brand, "National Music," a name etched with the sweat and sacrifice of those who came before us. Our core motives? Simple – to weave quality into every note, to offer instruments that sing the truth of our dedication, all at a price that warms the heart, not burns the pocket.

And now, the melody reaches even further. We've taken our music online, opening our doors to every corner of the world. No longer do music lovers need to wander through crowded markets, unsure of what they'll find. From the comfort of their homes, they can choose their perfect partner, the instrument that will echo their soul's song.

Today, National Music India isn't just a company, it's a family. Six humming workshops across the land, each one echoing with the rhythm of over 200 skilled artisans. These aren't just workers, they're artists, infusing wood and reeds with the magic of music. Every harmonium that leaves our hands isn't just an instrument; it's a promise, a pledge to carry forward the legacy of my father, of his Nana(grandfather), and of all the dreamers who have kept the melody alive.

So, dear friends, when you hold a National Music harmonium, know that you're holding more than wood and metal. You're holding a story, a melody forged in fire, a passion passed down through generations. Let the music guide you, let it wash over you, and remember, with National Music India, the sweetest notes are always just a tune away.

Thank you for joining us on this journey. May your song always be strong, and may your melody fill the world with joy.

With humble hearts and passionate hands,

Helal Chowdhury
